This 1978 Martinique Blue Pontiac Trans Am is powered by a
fuel-injected 6.0-liter Chevrolet V8 engine hooked to a 4L60E
4-speed transmission equipped with overdrive. The engine features
Holley fuel rails, fuel-injection system and an LS2 Stage Two
camshaft with hydraulic lifters set to 210:216 duration .050;
501/.501 lift, 116-degree LSA. Exhaust gasses are expelled from the
Pypes Race Pro dual exhaust through Flowmaster mufflers. Other
highlights include upgraded brakes, suspension, modern Alloy wheels
and new high-performance radial tires. Inside, the Trans Am has a
new Vintage Air system, new Dakota Digital gauges, custom stereo
system with extra speakers, power windows, turned silver dash
inserts, new carpet with modern sound-deadener and insulation,
complete with bucket seats and belts. The exterior has a front and
rear spoiler, side-wheel spats, fender air extractors and a Phoenix
graphics decal kit with light and dark blue hood bird.
