Vehicle Description
This custom Resto-Mod 1966 Chevrolet C10 pickup is powered by a GM
performance 525 hp LS3 6.2-liter engine backed by a GM Performance
4L70E overdrive transmission with a 9-inch Ford rear end from Moser
with Tru-Trac posi-traction, 31 splined axles and 3:70 gears.
Equipped with polished aluminum Griffin radiator, billet front
runner system from Vintage Air, polished billet hood hinges, custom
tube chassis from Scott's Hot Rod & Custom, independent front
suspension with tubular control arms, Alden American coilover
shocks, rack & pinion power steering and the rear suspension is a
triangulated 4 bar with pan hard bar. The stainless shorty headers
from Jim Browning flow into the 2.5-inch polished stainless
exhaust. The polished fuel tank has been relocated to the rear of
the truck between the frame rails accessed by raising the center
section of the bed floor. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood
power disc brakes on all four corners with 14-inch drilled and
slotted rotors. Both bumpers have been custom fitted to the body
and inside the bed you will find that Cambria Ash wood was used for
the bed floor covered in several coats of clear. Additionally, all
four corners inside the bed have been rounded for a clean look,
inside the bedside panels were fabricated as well as the wheel tubs
were widened 5-inches. The interior seats and door panels were done
in Muse Brown imported Italian leather with a hidden cup holder on
the dash. All-new glass with one-touch power windows, push-button
start, Dakota gauges, Ididit tilt steering column, Vintage Air
climate control system, and a custom sound system with an Alpine
head unit tucked away in the glove box sending power to hidden
amplifiers and several JL Audio speakers.
