This 1954 Plymouth Plaza Suburban has been body-off restored with
847 miles since the restoration. The engine is a completely
professionally rebuilt Mopar 360ci, with a Build Sheet that
includes a dyno test sheet showing it produces over 400hp. This
Suburban has electronic ignition, new 4-barrel carburetor, new
radiator with thermostatically controlled dual fans, coated exhaust
manifolds, powder-coated aluminum intake manifold and serpentine
belt system. The engine and accessories are all finished in black
with stainless fasteners for a very clean appearance. The
transmission is a Mopar 46RE automatic with overdrive, completely
rebuilt. Chevy rear end with 3.42:1 gear ratio. Independent front
suspension. Completely refinished and reupholstered with three-tone
leather upholstery. High-end German-weave carpeting. Complete
Dynomat insulation throughout the car. The interior also features
all-new gauges with LED dash lighting, custom-built steering wheel,
Flaming River tilt steering column, Vintage Air climate control,
new stereo with speakers and new seat belts. Has power steering,
Wilwood master cylinder and booster, GM disc brakes, new 2-speed
windshield wiper system, new complete wiring system by American
Auto Wire, new glass and weatherstripping. There is a new 25-gallon
stainless fuel tank, new electric fuel pump and a new dual exhaust
system with stainless tips. Also has new 16-inch highly polished
American Racing 5-spoke wheels with blackwall radials. Everything
on this car is new, old stock or rebuilt.
