1958 Chevrolet 3100 Apache. Grab the keys and your sunglasses and
hit the open road in style with this classic truck sporting modern
amenities. At the heart of this truck is a 5.7-liter Vortec 350
with only 3600 miles on it since being rebuilt. The engine is
adorned with polished accessories, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor,
aluminum intake and dual electric fans. The new 700R, 4 speed
automatic transmission shifts smoothly and helps transfer the power
to the rear wheels. Rolling stock comes by way of polished 15-inch
American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with 215/70/R15 BF Goodrich
Touring T/A tires up front and 235/70/R15's in the rear. A touch of
modern comes by way of a newer 90's era Chevrolet Step Side bed,
adorned with stylish chrome bed rails and inside you will see a
full-size steel wheel spare tire with its own cover to keep it out
of elements. The rear bumper was customized to showcase the dual
exhaust and adds a nice touch of flare to the back of this truck.
Inside you will find other modern touches like Auto Meter gauges, a
Blaupunkt AM/FM CD player, Vintage Air HVAC system was added with a
custom center console complete with an arm rest to house the head
unit and a few of the HVAC vents. The tan tweed interior meshes
well with the two-tone white and peach painted dash and doors.
Power brakes, power steering, a Camaro front end with disc brakes
and tilt steering wheel round off the list of luxuries to make this
a solid, safe driver. Both the engine bay and undercarriage were
paid special attention to in order to make this truck a complete
showstopper.
