Other information:
- History
- 1st owner sold this car in the late 1970s with close to 80,000 miles on the odometer
- 2nd owner, a really good guy named Dan, took the car up to around 86,000 miles in the early 1980s
- Dan had the car repainted and soon put it in storage with two other beautiful Oldmobiles (a 1966, and a 1972 W-30)
- I purchased the car 7 years ago, as it just came out of storage, and it is now at about 90,600 miles (mainly driving to car shows)
- Description
- This is a very original, but non-restored car
- If it had not been repainted, I believe it would be one of the best “survivor” cars of this model around
- This is a highly-optioned car when compared to others of the same model
- Transparency
- The air cleaner
- The air cleaner is not the original one that came on this car. It was stolen when the 2nd owner possessed the car.
- The air cleaner on it now, although non-original, was fabricated using all of the original individual parts that were used back in 1969.
- This is not a plastic or fiberglass “repop”, but an expensive, fabricated recreation to mimic the factory installation
