Vehicle Description
This custom pickup had the original frame completely boxed and
powder-coated, upgraded with TCI front tubular control arms and
rack & pinion steering. The exterior has an Art Morrison 4-link
with a 9-inch Ford-style housing with 3.90 gears. It has Wilwood
brakes with 6-piston calipers up front and 4 pistons in the rear
and features Hydroboost. Power comes from a BluePrint LS3 427/635hp
crate engine that was moved back 11 inches for better weight
distribution. The interior was handcrafted by Justin Jones of
Circle J Custom Upholstery and wrapped in Italian leather. It
includes a full roll cage, and the cab was scalloped with the toe
boards extended for more room. The gauges are Dakota Digital, the
surround as well as hinges, mirrors and power window switches are
all by Ringbrothers. It rides on Forgeline wheels, 19 inches up
front and 20 inches in the rear, which are wrapped in Pirelli
rubber (285/30/19 and 345/30/20). The tonneau cover was handcrafted
out of aluminum to be light and durable. Paint protection was added
by Bespoke. After the show aired it was driven extensively to check
and remedy any mechanical issues, which were sorted by Luxe Speed.
