Vehicle Description
This 1971 K5 Blazer underwent a total restoration six years ago
with everything replaced or restored. Most restoration parts were
purchased through LMC Truck with all work done by professionals,
including body, paint and mechanicals. The K5 has 900 miles since
restored and is powered by a 350/400hp V8 engine with Trick Flow
heads, Edlebrock air gap intake, Holley 770 off-road carburetor,
Holley electric fuel pump, aluminum radiator, Headman
ceramic-coated headers, March serpentine belt drive, Milodon
8-quart oil pan and high-volume oil pump. Also equipped with a
TH350 automatic transmission, Dana 44 front axle with Eaton
Truetrac differential, Chevy 12-bolt rear end with Detroit Locker
and 4.56 gears in both. The Blazer rides on a Skyjacker Softride
suspension 4-inch lift with Classic Truck rear disc brakes, stock
front disc brakes and stainless brake lines. Additionally, the K5
has BDS Suspension shocks and is equipped with 35-inch Cooper
Discover tires and American Racing 15x10-inch wheels. Custom-made
powder-coated roll bar with custom-made bikini top and Optima
red-top battery for durability.
