This 1956 Chevrolet 210 represents one of the most iconic automotive designs: the Tri-Five Chevys of 1955-56-57.  These cars ushered in a new era for Chevrolet with flush fenders, wraparound windshields, 12V electrical systems, and small-block V8 power.  They remain some of the most popular classic cars of all time.

This example features a 2-door post (sedan) body style which offers more strength and better door / window fitment than the hardtops of the era.  It has been redone in Dusk Plum and India Ivory which was a factory two-tone offering that year.  I think this combination looks especially good with the 210 trim which allows the second color to flow all the way through the fenders and onto the hood.  The staggered polished aluminum wheels add to the car’s appearance and wear BF Goodrich tires with 225/55ZR17 in front and 255/45ZR18 at the rear.  The underside is also clean and solid; be sure to see the photos.

An original inline 6 car, this 210 model now has a rebuilt small block V8 with late model heads, an aluminum intake manifold, and HEI ignition.  There is also a 4-barrel Holley carburetor with electric choke, multi-rib accessory belt, headers, and an aluminum radiator.  The transmission is a TH350 automatic that shifts smoothly.  This reliable drivetrain is far superior to the original offering and sounds great through the dual glasspack exhaust.

The two-tone interior matches the exterior nicely.  The seats, carpet, door panels, and headliner are all in great condition and look sharp.  The dash was also redone and now includes a set of aftermarket oil / temp / volt gauges.  It otherwise has a factory appearance that is clean and uncluttered.  The speedometer, gauges, wipers, lights, heater/defroster, horn, and parking brake all work properly.  As a bonus this 1956 includes a steel pedal car that has been painted to match and includes a proper style hood ornament!  It fits nicely in the large trunk.

This really is a sharp automobile and a great example of an American classic.  It is one of those cars that everyone will want to stop and talk about wherever you go.  But even better, this car is complete and ready to go throughout.  All the new owner has to do is drive and enjoy.
