Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is super excited to offer, on
consignment, this 1986 Oldsmobile Toronado offered by our
Scottsdale Showroom near the I-17 and 101 freeways! 1986 marked the
first year of the 4th generation of the Toronado that started all
the way back 1966. This last generation went on a massive diet
since the days back in 66 where it weighed in at a healthy 4500lbs.
Going from a body on frame construction to a unibody, losing the V8
powerplant in favor of a 3.8L V6, this generation brought back the
hidden headlights not seen since 1969 and weighed in at about
3200lbs. The Black Cherry Metallic exterior pops on this car and
blends well with the burgundy leather and cloth interior. This
nicely equipped model features an AM/FM cassette radio, power
seats, mirrors, windows, door locks, steering, brakes, tilt wheel
and air conditioning. At first glance, the interior brings you back
to the days of Nightrider with the digital displays, there seems to
be a button for everything! The center console features a neat
rotisserie style compartment, push the button and it rotates from a
cassette tape holder to a change holder and a cup holder. Expect a
smooth ride as this Toronado is equipped with the upgraded FE3
sport suspension package. The crown jewel of this 35-year-old car
is the average annual mileage of 1,329 miles that the owner claims
to be actual. That's right, this car has 46,502 miles!
