Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1929
Ford Model A! The Ford Model A was Ford Motor Company's second
market success after its predecessor, the Model T. First produced
on October 20, 1927, but not introduced until December 2, it
replaced the venerable Model T, which had been produced for 18
years. Certainly some tough shoes or perhaps tires to fill but the
Model A was rose to the occasion and is still highly sought after
today! Here we have '29 model and she is sharp! Set up like a dirt
racer she has the stance to impress. The black patina paint really
gives the car an aggressive look that just makes you want to get
behind the wheel! The black vinyl interior is in good order.
Powering this iconic Ford is a surprisingly throaty rebuilt 201ci
Flathead 4-cylinder engine and is believed from a '30 Ford. Power
is ran down through a rebuilt 3-speed manual transmission that
shifts very well. Slid in, turn on the fuel, pump, ignition, pull
the choke and give her some advance and timing and hit the starter
and that first bark to life is going to get your blood pumping
every time! Work to slowly close the choke getting her to idle and
you will certainly have a smile. If you are unfamiliar with driving
cars from this era they take a little time to get familiar with but
the learning curve is quick and fun. Being able to drive a car from
this era is something to be proud of! Current owner has had her for
nearly 3 years, acquired from a private owner in Indiana. She is
titled as a 1929 Ford Model A and the title is clean and clear and
ready to be transferred into your name now! Don't miss your chance
to have one of the coolest looking '29 Fords we have ever had! This
1929 Ford Model A is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be
