1971 Chevy Corvette Convertible, LS5 454 CI 365HP motor. The frame-off restoration was completed 18 months and 1000 miles ago Everything was either replace with new or restored to better than original. Chassis and metal parts were sandblasted and powder coated. Stainless steel was used wherever possible, including for the brake and fuel lines and clips. The motor was rebuilt to LS 5 specs by John's Cages, and the rear end, spring, drive shafts and steering box were rebuilt by NCRS shop, which assisted with the restoration. The TH400 automatic transmission was also rebuilt. It has power/tilt/telescoping steering wheel and power 4 wheel disk brakes. All suspension parts were rebuilt/replaced. The car drives and handles great and is good for 50+ years more.
