Vehicle Description
West Coast Classics are proud to present an exceptional example of
this older restoration and completely rust free 1965 Chevrolet
Corvette roadster with a date correct 327cid V8 engine and finished
in it #39;s original factory #39;Nassau Blue #39; color (code FF)
paint and with it #39;s original correct Black leather trim (code
402) interior with a wooden steering wheel, original matching
factory hard top, side pipes, bucket seats, cockpit cluster
console, full carpeting, complete instrumentation, manually folding
and brand new #39;White #39; convertible top, retro AM/FM radio and
an upgraded 5 sped Tremec manual transmission! The car is very
striking and completely rust-free and has no signs of any accidents
- obviously an always garaged and cherished car since new. The car
looks extremely impressive in its obviously professionally
repainted #39;Nassau Blue #39; color paint and the matching and
original specification Black leather interior has been beautifully
reupholstered and is in exceptional condition throughout. The car
has a new White soft top and all the chromework is also in very
good condition and the 327 V8 engine is extremely strong and
powerful. This particular car drives absolutely magnificently and
sounds quite awesome - must be driven and seen to be truly
appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road
wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that
will give any modern day sports car a run for it #39;s money! The
upgraded 5 speed Tremec transmission shifts smoothly through all
the gears and the temperature always remains cool! Please note that
as typically happens over the years, the block was obviously
previously decked by a machine shop during an engine rebuild and
the engine assembly date and suffix codes were therefore
unfortunately removed by the machining process and we are therefore
unable to confirm whether or not the engine is original to the car
although it does have the date correct 3782870 casting number
(1962-67 327 2 bolt small block) which reportedly has 350HP.This is
a rare opportunity to own a great daily driving and never abused
example 1965 Chevrolet Corvette 327 V8 roadster in very fine
condition throughout! This is one highly desirable and collectible
unabused example of one of the best styling efforts of the decade,
a genuine grand touring car in every sense of the word, this
shortest lived Corvette design (1963-67) is probably the most
sought after apart from the 1953-1957 models and increasing in
value and desirability each year! This particular model is sure to
prove a most worthy investment or simply a great daily driver for
any Corvette enthusiast or classic American car enthusiast!
