Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is very excited to offer for
sale on consignment this gorgeous 1958 Pontiac Chieftain located in
our show room conveniently located near the I-17 and Pinnacle Peak
Rd in North Phoenix. This is the second generation and last year of
the Chieftain's 9 year production run that began in 1949. This fine
example is offered in a beautiful teal and white exterior and
extends the same color theme on the interior. There's just
something about this car that makes you want to hop in and take it
to a soda shop for a big chocolate shake. This car has clocked an
undocumented 75,909 miles on the odometer and only 11,000 miles
since the rebuild. This Chieftain is equipped with a 370-engine,
which was a bored out and improved version of the Pontiac 347 and
is matched to a 3 speed automatic transmission. People will hear
you coming down the road with the aftermarket AM/FM cassette
player, stashed away in the glove box, that is paired with some
6.5" door and package tray speakers. Lastly there is a small
subwoofer enclosure in the trunk with an amplifier for some added
bass. Power steering and power brakes make this a joy to drive.
