ruggedness. This example was legally imported to the United States
and comes with a clean Michigan title. It is powered by its 4
cylinder turbo diesel with a manual transmission. The Defender runs
and drives very well. This example offered here is the recipient of
a recent restoration with the following upgrades.
-Heavy duty galvanized Marsland chassis
-TDI mounts wax oiled that stops corrosion
-2.8 TDI - AMC cylinder head with bigger valves (Flowed and
Ported)
-Big intercooler
-New Poly bushings
-Asucroft gearbox with a heavy-duty clutch
-Rebuilt heavy duty axles with differential guards
-Drilled and fluted discs (all around) new calipers with 4 pistons
in the front
-Modified rears with extended travel - Tera-Firma Shocks and
steering
