Vehicle Description
This 1966 Chevrolet Nova restomod is distinct in all angles. From
the glowing paint to the growl of the fuel-injected V8 - everyone
instantly knows this is something special. And as you dig into the
details, you'll find it has a leather-lined A/C interior, overdrive
transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and fully upgraded
suspension, too. So it's perfect for both Saturday drives and
Sunday car shows.
The Prowler Orange Metallic paint is a modern color with a modern
shine. They invested a ton to get plenty of gloss and depth, and
with only 6,800 miles on this build, it still radiates with
impressiveness. So you'll love to take this one out for a sunny
Sunday drive. And the appeal of this one goes far further than just
paint. These 2nd gen cars were only around for two years, but they
have one of the best-looking styles with the full-length sheet
metal crease and sporty kick-up that begins just behind the doors.
And of course, we all love the look of a pillarless hardtop. This
one really does a terrific job with the full presentation with
smooth sheet metal, good gaps, and bright chrome. Plus, you have
the right amount of custom attitude in this classic with distinct
pieces like the crystal clear headlights, a custom rear spoiler,
and 17-inch polished torque thrust wheels. It all makes for a
stunning vintage coupe with plenty of unique distinction.
The tan interior received a good investment to enhance both
performance and comfort. This starts with the front bucket seats.
They are finished in supple leather and offer better bolstering
than you could ever get in the 1960s. And plush carpeting, good
door panels, and a smooth dash make for quite an inviting car. It
has the right cruiser upgrades, too. You have a custom center
console, power windows, LED interior lights, an AM/FM/CD stereo,
and an amplified stereo speaker system. Plus, the cold blowing air
conditioning is great for those days when you're out cruising with
all the windows down on this pillarless hardtop. And this is a true
driver-ready car with a full set of upgraded gauges and a chrome
and leather sports steering wheel mounted on a tilt column.
The engine bay looks like it could win awards all on its own. After
all, the custom color-matched inner fenders and firewall, and
overall tidy setup let you get a good look at the motor. And there
are plenty of polished components that add flair too. But as much
as this looks like a beauty, the motor is really a beast. It's a
388 cubic-inch stroker motor that is built for power. It has
Pro-Comp aluminum heads, an aluminum intake, and long tube headers
feeding the dual exhaust. The motor is then topped with a FiTech
electronic fuel injection system for the best in power and
consistency. It's a thoughtful setup with most wires and lines
hidden behind the panels, and you have good driven features like an
aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. As you look underneath,
you can see a clean and tidy presentation that also shows upgrades
like the tubular control arm front end, trailing arms in the rear,
a Ford 9-inch limited-slip diff, and adjustable coilovers
all-around. And it's an all-around solid driver with a four-speed
automatic transmission with overdrive, power steering, modern sport
tires, and four-wheel power disc brakes.
This Nova hardtop is a distinct classic coupe that knows how to
