Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1965 AMC
Rambler Classic 550. Long has there been a cult following for brand
names of vehicles, but none have been quite as unique as the AMC
community. The 1965 Classic models were billed as the "Sensible
Spectaculars," with emphasis on their new styling, powerful
engines, and their expanded comfort and sports-type options, in
contrast to the previous "economy car" image. The Classic was now
shorter than - as well as visually distinctive from - the
Ambassador line, while still sharing the basic body structure from
the windshield back. The 1965 Classic base 550 models featured the
modern and economical 128 hp (95 kW; 130 PS) 199 cu in (3.3 L)
six-cylinder, which was basically a destroked 232 engine. This
Rambler does have the 232 Cubic Inch Inline 6 with a 3-Speed Manual
Transmission. Options on this 1965 AMC Rambler include: AM/FM
Radio, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, 17'' US Mags
Wheels, and Window Tint. This 1965 AMC Rambler is being offered by
our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including
