Gateway Classic Cars is proud to welcome this elegant 1947 Custom
Super Clipper Packard Touring Sedan in deep midnight blue! With
sweeping lines, spectacular chrome/brightwork and period correct
wool crepe blue-denim interior! The stunning and distinguished
Packard cormorant graces the tip of a mile long hood, underneath, a
powerhouse 356-cid16-hp L-head eight that's mated to a effortlessly
shifting 3 on-the-tree 3 speed overdrive, guaranteed the regal
inhabitants (and requisite chauffer) had a smooth ride, gracefully
meandering down an estate road or equally comfortable pulling up in
front of a gala at the Opera house (rear compartment opera lights
included). This Packard started it's life being purchased new by
the Mayor of Denver, Colorado who then owned it for 20 years. It
comes with an entire binder of documentation and receipts including
newspaper articles of it with it's previously famed owner. One of a
handful of post war Packard's to be accepted as a full classic by
the Classic Car Club of America, this beauty will not disappoint!
IF you are a Packard lover it is free to look! Feast your eyes! For
