Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1972
Volkswagen Super Beetle! The Beetle has an incredibly deep history
dating all the way back until the 30s era! With a team lead by
Ferdinand Porsche the "people's car" debuted in 1938. Over the next
decade the car became widely known in its home country as the Kfer
(German for "beetle"). With subtle changes over the years across
many generations the Beetle is the longest-running and most
manufactured car of a single platform ever made! Here we have a '72
Model Super Beetle. If you walked through a parking lot its hard
for your gaze not to land on this car. The green paint by Napa is
striking! Shows of the lines of the car very well and is in good
condition. The tan vinyl interior complements the tone and is also
in good order. If you pop the hood, you'll find the trunk as the
1600cc 4-cylinder engine is in the rear. Power is running through a
4-speed manual transmission and is a blast to drive! The current
owner has had her for over 2 years, acquired from a dealer out of
Maryland. The powertrain is believed to have been rebuild before
they purchased it. Also under the current ownership the brakes have
been adjusted, head gaskets replaced, new starter, fuel filter,
alignment was all performed. Car comes with the owner's manual and
a car cover. Whether you are adding to a collection, just starting,
or have trouble finding your car in a parking lot, look no further.
This Super Beetle is for you! Title is clean and clear and ready to
be transferred into your name now. Options on the VW are: Vinyl
Interior, Seat Belts, and AM/FM Radio. This 1972 Volkswagen Super
