2013 MINI Cooper Countryman JCW - Black over Black with Red Accents
- All Wheel Drive - 6 Speed Manual - 1.6L Turbo I4 - Original

be viewing this 2013 MINI Cooper Countryman JCW on a website other
than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that you've only
seen some of our many photographs of the car due to third-party
website limitations. To be sure you access all the more than 145
photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video, and

through ice- and snow-bathed roads winding through the mountains,
we have good news to report: This is the best Countryman by far,
and it may well be the best John Cooper Works Mini. €" Car and
Driver, December 2011 In addition to other advantages, Car & Driver
absolutely loved the Countryman's handling: Between allaying torque
steer and providing outstanding grip, ALL4 turns the Countryman
into a borderline handling hero. In back-to-back driving with its
coupe counterpart, the Countryman's advantage was immediately
clear. The coupe struggled to maintain a clean line through tight
turns on the slick Alpine roads, sliding wide when it didn't have
traction and, well, torque-steering wide when it did. The JCW
Countryman never ran into the same problems, its more neutral
behavior making it much easier to keep on line. Offered here in
Chili Red and Absolute Black Metallic over red and black inside, is
a very well-maintained and substantially upgraded 2013 MINI Cooper
Countryman JCW. (Note: Please see the car's factory window sticker
for a comprehensive list of standard equipment, as well as all
optional equipment available at the time-including the highly
regarded ALL4® all-wheel-drive system. The window sticker is shown
in the accompanying photo gallery.) Manufactured in Graz, Austria,
and sold in the U.S. by Mini of Grand Rapids, the car's odometer
currently reads 64,665 miles, a very conservative 8,000 miles
per-year since new. A Carfax-certified one-owner (and a non-smoker)
vehicle, the car experienced a minor-damage incident five years
ago. Professional repairs have long since been completed with no
remaining sign whatsoever of the damage or the repair. The Mini has
been regularly maintained by German Auto Service of Grand Rapids,
including a recent 65,000-mile comprehensive service (including all
fluids flushed and refilled, a new drive belt installed, and the
cold-air intake cleaned). Minis are known for their interesting
two-tone paint combinations and this Countryman is no exception.
The model's long roof is Chili Red, matched by mirror caps in the
same color, while the remainder of the body is Absolute Black
Metallic. Lower-body trim and fender flares are matte black. The
paint finish is uniformly excellent with near-showroom gloss across
the entire car. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim
finishes, be sure to view the close-up photographs of the car in
the accompanying gallery.) There are no dings or dents on the sheet
metal. Factory badging-including the Mini logos front and rear,
John Cooper Works grille emblem, and the ALL4 emblems on the lower
front fenders-is properly in place. Cabin glass and lighting lenses
are clear and free of cracks. Factory 7-split-spoke, 18-inch wheels
(with John Cooper Works center emblems) are mounted with
Bridgestone® Potenza 225/40 performance tires. Red-painted brake
calipers are visible through the wheels. Inside, the Minis
treat-for-the-eyes continues. Flashes of Chili Red adorn the door
trim, dashboard, center console, piping on the leather seat
upholstery, stitching on the steering-wheel leather, and door
jambs. Otherwise, black is the color theme. Vertically pleated
black leather adorns the four bucket seats and dashboard. The cabin
carpeting are black as well and protected by JCW-branded facto
