wherever you want to go. - Ford Bronco dealer brochure The brochure
writers continued: Bronco's built to go... through snow, mud or
shifting sands, up ground that's too rough for anything but the
toughest. Bronco's four-wheel drive gives you the traction! Big Six
or V-8 engines give you the power! Underneath, Bronco has lots of
ground clearance and a tough, protected underside. Wide-track
Mono-Beam front suspension makes Bronco stable on hillsides, smooth
riding, and easy handling no matter where you go to work or play!
The brochure language was pretty appealing back in the day, and in
a way, that timeless appeal helps explain Ford's decision to
re-launch the new Bronco some 50 years later. Offered here is a
fully restored and upgraded '75 Bronco in Ford's signature Grabber
Blue-and-white over black. Needless to say, the popularity of
first-generation Broncos has surged dramatically in recent years.
The result has been a booming business in restorations. The '75
Bronco offered here was respectfully treated to a comprehensive
professional restoration, and the result is an exceptional build
ready for its next owner's adventures. On the exterior, the Grabber
Blue paint-a terrific choice-under an ivory top has been
professionally applied; the finish is uniformly glossy and free of
even a hint of wear or damage. Added fiberglass rear-fender flares
are perfectly incorporated.(To best assess the quality of the paint
and trim finishes, be sure to view the close-up photographs of the
car in the accompanying gallery.) Ford identification, offset on
the tailgate and centered in the front grille (and the front grille
itself), are all correctly painted. Original emblems are properly
in place. Chrome bumpers front and rear are perfect. All lighting
lenses are crystal-clear; windshield glass is free of any
imperfections. Stock, ivory-painted steel wheels (with front
locking hubs) are mounted with BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A
raised-white-letter tires (the rear-mounted spare is a Dunlop®
Radial Rover tire). Every exterior surface on the Bronco appears
brand new. Inside, the completely refreshed stock look is
impressive. Dash top and trim, black vinyl upholstery on the front
bucket and rear bench seats, black rubber floor matting, door
straps, the large left-offset speedometer, the original
Ford-branded steering wheel, the simple dash-mounted switches, the
factory AM radio all carry the stock look perfectly. The shifter
for the stock, 3-speed manual transmission is mounted on the
column. The Bronco features power steering and front disc brakes.
Every surface in the Bronco's interior-every control feature, every
bit of upholstery, everything-is virtually perfect in feel and
function. Underneath the hood is the Ford 302-cubic-inch V8
exhibiting the same stock, perfectly clean appearance as the rest
of the truck. The offset, 302-branded air cleaner is the proper
Ford blue, as is the engine-block paint. All components are
properly installed and organized. Nothing has been added. The
engine bay is a treat for the eyes and a showcase for how the
engine and its components should look. Underneath the Bronco, it's
the same story: the suspension, drivetrain, steering system, front
disc brakes, and exhaust systems are equally impressive; most
components and underbody panels have been treated with
rust-inhibiting coating. The Bronco's original V
