Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1988 Pontiac Trans Am
GTA in our Ft Lauderdale Showroom. In the year 1982, GM came up
with the idea of a more sportier aerodynamic design in mind, for
the Camaro and the Firebird/Trans Am models; thus the 3rd
generation body style was born. The Trans Am of this era gained
popularity instantly, as the T.V. show Knight Rider came out, and
all of a sudden everybody wanted to have their own Kitt Karr! A few
iterations of the Trans Am came out, but few to none held a torch
to the GTA model. Under the hood of this gorgeous Red Trans Am GTA
is a 5.7 -Liter L98 V8 which features Tune Port Injection and
improved performance advantages over the 5.0 counterpart. Paired to
the L98 is a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with over-drive,
offering ease of use, while not sacrificing the feel of a true
performance machine. Other amenities include: Power Steering, Power
Brakes, Air Conditioning, Am/Fm Radio, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel,
Telescopic Wheel, Back-up Camera, Radial Tires and Rally Wheels.
