Is there a hotter car? A big block, 4-speed 69 camaro convertible!
Restored very nicely.
EXTERIOR: This is one good looking car. The lines on a 1969 Camaro
are great. Hugger orange, hockey stick stripes and big polished
wheels makes it that much better. Excellent fit and finish on the
body, it is very straight from every angle. It's smooth even all
along the bottoms. All the panels fit square and flush, it has a
metal cowl hood, front and rear spoilers and the exterior trim
package. Painted in hugger orange and it has a smooth glass finish.
The hockey stick stripe is correctly applied and it has the blacked
out SS tailpanel. All the exterior trim is new. Upfront the grill
and bumper are new. On the sides the emblems, marker lights,
mirrors and handles are new. The stainless trim around the
windshield and top opening was replaced. In back the bumpers,
bumper guards and emblem are new. The windshield is new. The door
jambs are painted real slick. Weather strips, window seals and sill
plates are replaced. The manuel top is easy to operate. New black
top, new pads and weatherstrips. The convertible frame was prepped
and painted smooth. The staggered size Ridler wheels really pop.
They are 18s in front and 20s in back with performance tires. It
gives it a real nice stance.
INTERIOR: Completely redone inside. The seats have a little extra
cushion in the bolsters, then reupholstered. New headrests, door
panels, armrests and window cranks. Carpet is new. In front of me
the whole instrument panel, heater control panels, dash pad, knobs
and vents were replaced. It has a factory center console with the
gauge package and a factory tachometer in the dash. The ashtray is
new and the cigarette cigarette lighter matches the knobs. It has a
custom steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a1969 396 motor with an aluminum intake,
a dual feed Holley carb, long tube stainless headers and HEI
ignition system. It's dressed up with some real nice cast aluminum
valve covers. The power brake booster and master cylinder are
chrome plated. It also features power steering. It has new battery
cables and a battery disconnect. The alternator, pulleys, and wiper
motor look new. The engine bay is clean metal with smooth satin
black finish.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid metal, it's been neatly spatter
painted. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as smooth
as the car. New rubber mat, well liner and weatherstrip. A new
convertible top boot is included too.
UNDERSIDE: it is restored very nicely under this car. The metal
looks really solid- the floors, braces, rockers are all smooth and
clean. They were prepped and painted a semi-gloss black. The front
end looks like it's all rebuilt- bushings, shocks, ball joints,
springs have been replaced. The rear suspension is rebuilt-
springs, bushings, hardware, air shocks and a sway bar. The brake
system was completely upgraded. It has drilled and slotted disc at
all four wheels with red calipers. The hoses and lines were
replaced, e-brake assembly is new. The fuel system is new including
the tank, straps, sending unit and fuel line. It has a custom dual
exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Looking up at the motor it is
very clean. The starter, motor mounts, fuel pump look new. It has a
Muncie 4-speed, shift linkage is new. There is a 10 bolt rear end
in back.
I drive this car home and it performed great. Has power, steered
straight, rode nice. You'll make a lot of people jealous once your
driving this one!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
