The Thunderbird was redesigned for 1961-1962-1963 with styling that
gave the car a unique bullet-like body side appearance. A new
engine, the 390 cu in (6.4 L) V8, was the standard and only engine
initially offered in the Thunderbird. It was rated at 300 hp (224
kW) and was mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. This
classic 1962 Thunderbird spent many years in a barn in Paradise, CA
then relocated to Southern California where it was again stored in
a garage and driven sparingly to local car shows. The odometer
reads 66,526 miles and it is thought to be original and accurate
miles. It is a great driving car, even on the freeways. It retains
all of it's originality with only added pin stripes and chrome
wheels with chrome hub caps. Full loaded with all power and
convenience options, slide-a-way steering wheel, this original
color Raven Black exterior with it's original black interior beauty
has a lot of fun miles in it for the next caretaker. ***If you are
