Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1972
Avanti II. The Avanti is based on the Studebaker Avanti. Marketed
through five different ownerships as an American sports car from
1965-2006. Being offered as a coupe, four-door sedan and
convertible variations. The Avanti II was introduced in 1965.
Initially built with a Corvette 327 engine which evolved into the
use of a 400 Chevrolet and ultimately downsizing to a 305. This
Avanti II is 1 of only 127 units built in 1972. Under the hood is a
400cid V-8 attached to a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic
transmission. Painted in tuxedo black with a refined tan leather
interior. Gold honeycomb wheels are a great addition to the
Avanti's good looks. Bucket seats, full length console, chrome
switches and full gauge package gives the cockpit a real sporty
appearance. An upgraded disk brake system and power steering makes
this Avanti II one fun car to drive. Comfort features include air
conditioning, AM/FM/cassette radio, power windows, power sunroof
and tilt wheel. Described as an American Sports car, this 1972
Avanti II has become a rare example on the classic car market.
Making it a great addition to any car collection.
