1983 Camaro For the money, this is the nicest 83 in the nation right now! This car was restored by and a part of the personal collection here in the midwest! The finish on this restoration is NICE. This Camaro is a super solid, rust freerestorationand maintains ALL original or GM post date panels besides the hood. The body lines are straight and panel gaps line up in an incredible fashion. Both doors shut with confidence and nicely as they should to reveal NICE panel gaps. The 2 stage paintwas laid down well! The clear adds a TON of depth.The bumpers and lower valance look awesome! The glass is also nice, including gaskets! Anywhere that has been painted has been color sanded, cleared and polished. Bottom of the doors are SHARP and rockers are SOLID. Thewheels and tire combo set of the stance andlook well. The interior isoriginal and clean as well with nice door panelsandcomfort weave seats! All of the gauges work properly and look great as well. The headliner is TIGHT and rear hatchis clean. Both front and rear seats look great. You will notice an upgraded sound system and line lock have been added as well. The undercarriage is super clean as well and very nicely detailed. With bigger WS6 sway bars, 2in lowering springs, all new bushings and added sub frame bracing this car loves the turns as well! The engine bay has had ton of cash dumped into it as well! In this bay rests a350 block, 4 bolt main block that has been bored and stroked to a 383. It hosts a steel crank, Eagle rods and Hypereutechnic pistons. A Cloyes double roller timing set and high volume oil pump were also added. A custom grind Comp Cam gives it that lope we are all looking for and Edlebrock aluminum heads round of the top! They were mounted with ARP head studs. In the heads you will find Harland Sharp roller rocker arms and Crane push rods. Main bolts are also ARP. On top of all this you will find an Edlebrock Air Gap manifold and a Holley 750 carb. It also has a MSD 6AL ignition.It alsomaintains factory AC. It is paired up with a 350 transmission, fully rebuilt with a 36 element sprag, kevlar band and B&M (full bonzi) shift kit, A B&M 2400 shift kit is also set in place. In the rear you will find a rebuilt, 10 bolt posi with Richmond 3.73 gears! It is incredibly smooth and shifts with ease! This car runsnice and cool.This beautiful 83 runs, drives and sounds like a dream! With power steering andpower disc brakes this car is a driving machine.
