Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1946
Ford 2-door Coupe! In the early 40's the U.S. was on a decade
removed from the great depression. America was still bouncing back
but just around the corner was WWII. Production would not last long
into 1942 when the government ordered the complete shut-down of all
civilian automotive manufacturing. This was in direct response to
the start of the U.S.'s involvement in WWII. Ford would not be able
to restart production until 1946 and that is the year we have here.
This '46 Ford has seen many changes and upgrades. Upon approach to
this hot rod you are entranced by the beautiful orange paint. The
tan leather interior is in great shape, hardly looks used. The
stance of this Ford is aggressive. Under the hood is a high output
305ci V8 mated to a 350 automatic transmission. This car was
subjected to a full frame-off-restoration and complete new wiring!
Current owner has had her for over 2 years, acquired from a private
owner out of Kentucky. The title is clean and clear and ready to be
transferred into your name now! Options on this Ford are: A/C,
Power Brakes, Power Seats/Locks(door poppers)/Windows, Leather
Interior, Tilt wheel, Seat Belts, Alloy Wheels and Radial Tires.
