Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevy Camaro RS Super Sport has been professionally
restored and custom built into a "Transformers" Bumble Bee "Grand
Modified Street Fighter" tribute. A massive front splitter, flared
wheel opening, satin black finish as well as a carbon-fiber-style
hood and decklid set the stage for this car's aggressive
appearance. Power comes from a 427ci V8 engine with a 10.5:1
compression and fitted with dual 4-barrel 1,100 cfm Edelbrock
carburetors, MSD ignition, polished Edelbrock intake and a polished
aluminum front runner system. The engine is mated to a TREMEC
6-speed manual transmission connected to a Ford 9-inch rear end
with 4.30 gears. Spent gases exit through a set of Doug's
high-performance headers with a Borla Performance tuned exhaust
system. The Camaro features Hotchkis front suspension with tubular
control arms and a Calvert Racing CalTracs rear suspension.
Stopping power comes courtesy of Wilwood drilled and slotted disc
brakes at all four corners. The all-leather custom interior
features a one-off custom dashboard, one-off custom seats, a
"Transformers" headliner, Tiger Cage stainless-steel roll bar,
AutoMeter Phantom II gauges, Billet Specialties steering wheel,
billet accessories and LED lighting. This Bumble Bee Camaro rides
on NewGen "Lite" Performance forged wheels wrapped in Mickey
Thompson 18-inch tires, 26x10 front and 26x12 rear. A custom stereo
includes a Kenwood 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, Garmin GPS,
HD radio and Sirius XM. It plays through eight JBL speakers powered
by JBL amplifiers. Other modern amenities include air conditioning,
power windows, electronic trunk release and push-button start
ignition.
