Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
RS, finished in red over a black interior. This iconic muscle car
was a North Georgia barn find, discovered by the seller's late
father in the late 90s. He undertook a frame-off restoration in the
early 2000s, and the car has done only 2,300 miles since then. It
has been garage kept and still looks fantastic inside and out.
Show-quality paint is in the condition you'd expect with so few
miles. Interior likewise presents to a nicely restored standard.
Factory gauges are mantled above the Muncie 4-speed transmission,
the seats and carpet are free of any defects, and the woodgrain
accents look sharp against the black. The body is straight and to
the best of our knowledge, all panels are original.
Under the hood is a rebuilt 350 ci V8 motor. It has new heads, a
mild camshaft, Holley four-barrel double-pumper carburetor atop a
mid-rise intake, and Hooker headers to help it breathe. The exact
specs aren't known on the engine (the engine builder reportedly
passed away many years ago), but it makes an estimated 400+
horsepower at the crankshaft. It fires right up and sounds great
with that distinctive low RPM lope due to the cam, and a true roar
at higher revs.
1969 was the last (and in our opinion, best) year of the first
generation Camaros. This beautifully restored example runs and
drives great and is ready for touring or shows. For more
