Vehicle Description
Very good example of Ford's re-entry into the Euro-Performance
market in the '80s, the 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. Inspired
by Ford's SVO division, the sleek styling and aerodynamics are
coupled with a 2.3-liter MFI Intercooled turbocharged 4-cylinder
engine that cranks out a factory-rated 190hp. The engine is coupled
with a 5-speed manual transmission, upgraded suspension and
rear-wheel drive. Not only is it sporty but loaded with standard
and optional luxury equipment, including power windows, locks,
mirrors, seats, electronic climate control, upgraded sound system,
keyless touchpad locks, unique cast wheels and much more. This
Thunderbird has had one prior owner who purchased it new in
Pennsylvania, then moved to Texas, with the car then back to
Pennsylvania. From 2000 to now the car has had less than 1,600
miles put on it. The car has 42,026 miles (title reads mileage
exempt). Clean CARFAX and original owner's manual with case and the
keyless entry code card come with the 'Bird.
