Vehicle Description
1977 Chevrolet Corvette
The third generation of Corvette, known as the C3, was introduced
in 1967 and continued to be produced until 1982. Corvettes have
always had a huge following with the C3 being no different and
actually setting sales records in 1979 when just under 54,000 units
were produced. While the motors and chassis components were carried
over from the previous generation the C3 introduced a completely
restyled exterior and interior. This generation also introduced the
T-Top style that would give owners the option of cruising in a
coupe or popping them off on fair weather days. This '77 is a good
looking driver classic that has had 1 repaint in its life. It is a
factory dark Corvette Red making 1 of 3,434 in this color combo. It
has a nice Black accents on the low rise cowl hood and it also
wears its original luggage rack on the rear deck. It is a nice
little car that rides on a set of Rally wheels with Legend GT
Eldorado tires.
It is an original L82 car with its stock 350 ci V8 motor. This was
the higher HP motor for the year and is combined with an automatic
transmission. The car has a new dual exhaust system and sounds
great. It has 4 wheels power disc brakes as well as power steering
and AC making it a comfortable classic to cruise around in. In 2020
the car was gone through with various repairs including a new wiper
motor, horn, hood latch, hood release, fuel gauge, and speedo
cable.
