1957 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER CLOUD
This 1957 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud (Chassis: SDD288) is a right-hand drive example that is one of 2,238 four-door saloons produced between 1955 and 1958. Powered by a 4.9-liter inline-six paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. This Silver Cloud is offered as a running and drivable project with a jack, spare tire, and a clean Florida title.
The Silver Cloud featured an aluminum hood, doors, and trunk lid, and this example appears to display its original two-tone colors of beige over brown. The car’s paint has cracks, scratches, scuffs, and flaking present throughout. The car rides on a 123” wheelbase and features 15” steel wheels wearing polished and painted covers as well as older wide whitewall tires. Hydraulic servo-assisted brakes and dual master cylinders came as standard.
The interior is trimmed in beige leather with a matching carpet. Tears and patina are evident on the front and rear seats. The car is equipped with power windows, a push-button radio, and fold-down wood trays in the rear. A three-spoke steering wheel with a column shifter fronts a wood dash that houses factory Smiths gauges. Approximately 22,000 miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, with total mileage unknown. Equipped with a running 4.9-liter inline-six, this car is ready to be taken to the next level.
