Vehicle Description
This 1968 Chevrolet C10 custom short-bed pickup received a complete
professional frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration to exacting
standards. The body was completely disassembled, every panel and
dent addressed, and then proper reassembled and aligned with every
nut, bolt and stainless-steel screw in its proper place. Powered by
a freshly rebuilt 350ci Chevrolet V8 engine upgraded with a Stage 2
camshaft, ported 2.02 aluminum cylinder heads, Edelbrock manifold.
and new Holley 625 carburetor. Exhaust gasses are expelled via a
set of ceramic-coated headers leading to a 2.5-inch exhaust piping
and polished MagnaFlow mufflers with stainless tips. The V8 is
backed by a 700R4 automatic transmission and all-new drivetrain
components. All suspension components have been replaced using
2.5-inch BellTech drop spindles, and 3-inch CPP lowering springs
are fitted up front with 2-inch rear lowering block, as well as
4-inch CPP lowering springs and CPP lowering shocks. It has Energy
Suspension body bushings with the body and fender bolts either new,
original or stainless steel. The truck has a new power steering box
as well as new fuel and brake lines. The brakes have been upgraded
with 12-inch discs up front and red painted brake calipers, and
red-painted drum brakes in the rear. The red interior complements
and matches the engine color and features a Vintage Air cooling
system, with custom vents, custom foam bench seat, door panels,
dash pad, chrome steering column, a Billet 3-spoke steering wheel,
red digital gauges, and new handles and hardware. Additional
features include an Alpine stereo Polk Audio with 6x9-inch speakers
and sound-deadening mat below the carpet. The exterior features a
Raptor bed liner in gray with the bottom of the cab and bed/wheel
tubs with custom floor tie-downs, polished stainless hardware in
the bed, and all glass window and door rubbers are new. There is
new exterior trim and bumpers/brackets, including new emblems
red-painted color-matched tri-bar headlights, as well as new
taillights/marker lights. The engine bay is presented with a
smoothed firewall with engine painted bright red to match the
interior. Other features are a new fuel tank and sending unit,
4-core radiator with 16-inch electric fan, American Autowire wiring
harness with new components and 12V power outlet. The truck rides
on Ridler 605 wheels measuring 18x8-inch up front and 18x9.5-inch
at the rear. The wheels are wrapped in CrossWind 245/40/18 and
255/45/18 tires.
