we have a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1! Built on December 9th, 1968 in
Metuchen, New Jersey, this ""H"" code Mach 1 was ordered with a 351
V8 engine and FMX automatic trans! Our beautiful pony is painted in
its factory ordered ""T5"" Candy Apple Red sporting its
""Blackout/Gold"" Mach 1 decals! The detailed ""Marti"" report
available with the car, states this Mach 1 was sold new at Academy
Ford in Baltimore Maryland on December 26th 1968, optioned with:
Power disk brakes, Power steering, the AM/8-track radio, and the
very iconic flip down rear seat!
In 2011 this automobile underwent an entire frame-up restoration.
The entire car was taken down to bare metal and repainted its
factory colors! During this restoration the entire engine was torn
down and everything inside was replaced boasting a mean 480
Horsepower out of this 351, a 700R4 4 speed automatic trans was
specially built and modified to fit, and the rear end was rebuilt!
The interior retains all of its originality while adding a few
modern features! A backup camera was fitted to a screen mounted to
the dash, as well as a few aftermarket gauges helping you keep an
eye on trans temp, oil pressure, and voltage! Receipts and
paperwork documenting this extensive and costly restoration are
available for the next proud owner of this gorgeous Mach 1!
