Vehicle Description
As the overall GT-class winner at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans -
precisely 50 years after Ford's 1-2-3 podium sweep there - the new
Ford GT supercar came to market for 2017 with an immediate and
unbeatable racing pedigree. Developed in parallel with the Chip
Ganassi Racing/Multimatic racing cars, the new Ford GT is
essentially a thinly disguised FIA LM GTE-class endurance racer
with a license plate. Manufacture of road models is handled by
Multimatic at a purpose-built, low-volume facility in Markham,
Ontario, where the first Ford GT road car was completed in December
2016 with top Ford brass present. This example is finished in the
optional Liquid Blue paint accented by Frozen White overtop painted
stripes. This 2019 Ford GT is further enhanced by the Exterior
Exposed Carbon Fiber Package with matte finish. The stunning
bodywork features built-in aerodynamics yet pays stylistic homage
to its legendary predecessors. Power is delivered by a 3.5-liter
twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC EcoBoost V6 engine
developing 647hp, unleashed by a paddle-shifted Getrag 7-speed
dual-clutch automatic transmission. Electrifying performance
includes a 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.0 seconds and 216 mph flat
out. Supporting features include hydraulic steering, huge Brembo
carbon-ceramic disc brakes with optional blue calipers and
super-light 20-inch gloss exposed carbon-fiber wheels. This GT
features the optional Ebony and white Ford GT Re-Entry interior
theme, and this exceptionally well-optioned GT features
carbon-fiber seats and a stunning array of leather, Alcantara,
Matte Beryllium, exposed matte carbon fiber and black-anodized
appointments. Rounding out the GT are an optional indoor car cover
and 6-point harness anchors. Offered in immaculate, as-new
condition, with just 18.1 actual miles, this 2019 Ford GT includes
the Ford GT Ordering Kit and dealer invoice.
