I am listing this car for my father who has recently become ill. He purchased the car in September 2001 from a gentleman in St. Augustine FL who had owned it less than five years. Provenance prior to that is unknown.
During his ownership over the last 20 years, he has done quite a bit of work (see below). Most of the work, including rebuilt motor and transmission, was done by Wayne & Daves Automotive in Lancaster CA. My father also installed worked on a lot of interior/exterior custom chrome plating, newly fabricated door panels, new carpet, new door handles, etc.
After getting the car to what I he had envisioned, he entered it in numerous car shows both in Southern and Northern California. People enjoyed it for its beauty and would often comment to him “…my dad had one ‘just like this’ when I was growing up.” He has thoroughly enjoyed the past twenty years with this “beauty”. Now that his three grandchildren have ridden in it, it’s time for someone else to appreciate it as much as he has…and I hope they will.
