Real M code 351 Cleveland, 4-speed Mach 1 with plenty of options.
Documented with Marti Report. This car was recently rotisserie
restored. Striking vibrant blue with billet wheels and meaty size
tires.
EXTERIOR: The body and paint are amazing on this car. It was
stripped to bare metal and put on a rotisserie so every angle could
be worked. It was born a blue car but the color has been upgraded
with the more vibrant Lightning Blue found on newer Shelbys. All
the chrome has been either blacked out or color matched to the car.
It is dressed up with front and rear spoilers, rear window louvers
and black stripes. New windshield. The jambs are painted slick, the
weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. New modern version of
the Magnum 500 wheels with some muscle car size tires. This Mach
has a tough stance.
INTERIOR: New carpet with the sewn in mats. The seats have been
reupholstered, it has optional fold down rear seat. New deluxe door
panels with working interior lights. The dash pad is new, not a
cheap plastic cap. It has factory gauges and tachometer. The
headliner and visors are new, interior lights work. There is a T
handle Hurst shifter sticking out of the console. It has a modern
stereo with backup camera.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correct 351 Cleveland big block motor with
stock manifolds and valve covers. Upgraded new Holley carb.
Features include power steering and power brakes. Everything in the
engine compartment looks new from the washer bottle, pulleys, horns
and alternator to all the wiring and even the nuts and bolts.
Upgraded aluminum radiator with electric fan keeps it running cool.
The metal is all clean and painted smooth black. The VIN number is
on both inner fenders now. Under the hood and the jamb are painted
gloss blue.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's perfectly clean metal and it's all painted
the same vibrant blue color. The weatherstrip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: Under this car looks practically brand new. The front
end is completely redone. Every bushing, control arms, ball joints,
shocks, springs right down to the cotter pins, nuts and bolts. New
power steering control valve. It has welded in tubular frame
connectors to prevent body twist. In back is new springs, bushings,
shocks and old school traction bars. The brakes have been
completely rebuilt, disc in front. New brake lines, hoses and
e-brake assembly. Looking up at the motor it still looks new. The
oil sending unit, motor mounts, starter and inspection cover are
new. Upgraded Tremec 5-speed transmission. Rebuilt driveshaft and
U-joints. The rear end was rebuilt. New fuel system including the
tank, sending unit and fuel lines. Custom exhaust system with
crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers and chrome tips. The floors are
immaculate metal painted a smooth satin black.
We have been getting a lot of Camaros but I haven't been able to
find many Mach 1s. This one is a gorgeous, freshly restored
example. Don't wait, we might not get another one for awhile,
especially as good as this!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
