Vehicle Description
This 1956 Ford F-100 was built to give you everything you want. The
classic lines are positively radiant in the sleek custom two-tone.
The big back window lets in even more light to see the full custom
A/C interior. And the fuel-injected V8 and overdrive transmission
make this loaded pickup a great restomod cruiser.
Yellow and black is a timelessly attractive color combo. Of course,
it only gets better when you can really see there was a small
fortune spent getting this two-tone right. So you get a neon-like
glow from the yellow and a piano-grade gloss from the black. Before
the first drop of the paint went down, they deleted the badges and
smoothened the sheet metal so that the excellent panels let the
light roll evenly across the whole truck. And just in case these
were not distinctive enough, you also have a red pinstripe
providing a clear border all around this truck. And it's more than
just the paint that's radiant. Chrome bumpers, the classic grille,
and the upgraded 18-inch Boyd Coddington wheels are all
mirror-like. There are plenty of custom details, like the tri-bar
headlights, taillights integrated into the bumper, and a
flush-fitting tonneau. But this Ford doesn't trade in its full
vintage style, and that's why there's glossy lumber in the truck
bed. And the wraparound big rear window is a feature true vintage
truck people love to see.
The two-tone treatment continues inside. Custom door panels, plush
carpeting, and tweed inserts in the seating make this quite comfy.
You can tell there was an eye here for style where they kept
everything quite clean and smooth. That's why they did thoughtful
upgrades like put the AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth in an overhead
console so that you get an ultra-smooth dash. And the air
conditioning controls and vents are neatly integrated below the
dash. There are also more great upgrades, like power windows,
cruise control, and a tilt steering column. Plus, those Dakota
Digital gauges remind us of the digital readouts in a C4
Corvette...and that's for a very good reason.
The forward-tilt hood always looks sporty, and it's likely to draw
people closer. So that's why they made sure the engine bay was
ready for primetime. The smooth color-matched inner walls and the
well-hidden wires and hoses give you a clear view of the shining V8
heart. This is a 350 cubic-inch LT1 V8. This powerhouse is the best
way to mix a classic small block upgrade with a modern and powerful
fuel injection package. So it's ideal for a restomod like this. It
fires up with the consistency you want in a FI machine, and the
header-fed H-pipe dual exhaust makes a terrific V8 tune. But don't
just listen to the rumble; follow its path in the undercarriage
photos. There you'll see just how clean and thoughtful this full
build is over every inch. As pretty as this one is, you'll also
happily add miles to the odometer thanks to easy driving features
like power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and a
four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly
overdrive.
This is the kind of custom build that will take you to car shows
near and far in complete comfort. And the tonneau means you can
protect all the awards you pick up along the way. So if you want a
terrific truck that's unique and memorable, you can't let this Ford
slip away. Call now!
