Beautiful and unique 1974 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. This was the last year of production for the Karmann Ghia. A beautifully restored and documented car with no expense spared in upgrading it and making it truly one of a kind. Triple black with a new black German cloth interior, boot cover, cloth convertible top with glass rear window, dark gray German carpet set and new door panels. Mechanically it has an upgraded and rebuilt engine with two Weber carburetors added, PerTronics flamethrower distributor and electronic ignition, A high torque aluminum starter, EMPI header and exhaust system, EMPI shifter, new rear axles fitted with Bilstien shocks.
The front steering beam was replaced with an upgraded unit from Airkewld allowing for height adjustment of the front end but also adding front drilled rotor disc brakes with braided stainless steel lines, new shock absorbers, new ball joints and tie rod ends as well as a new steering box connection. The car was also fitted with a new fuel tank, new fuel sending unit, new battery, Nardi wooden steering wheel, and AM/FM audio system with MP3 jack, new Hancook radials on custom wheels and more. Beautifully rust free with excellent chrome and glass this car is truly one of a kind. Runs and drives Beautifully, needs absolutely nothing and was recently professionally detailed.
