Under the hood sits a very powerful 427 LS motor built by Don Hardy Engines and Speedway Motors. Believed to be a 700hp motor, the drivetrain was broken in on a dyno where it showed 457hp at the rear wheels, at 6,400rpm, while still pulling hard and lots left to give. Mated to this motor is the smooth shifting 4L60E 4 Speed with Overdrive Automatic Transmission. Since the installation of this drivetrain, approximately 500 miles have been driven. The engine bay has been cleaned up and painted just as nicely as the exterior to complete the show look of this car.
