1965 PONTIAC GTO, #''S MATCHING, PHS DOCUMENTED TRI-POWER, 4-SPEED,
LOADED W/OPTIONS!! This is one good looking GTO in its original
color, Nightwatch Blue. It has fantastic fit and finish. It is very
straight, all the panels fit square and flush. The doors open and
shut like new. The clear coat finish is polished like glass. It has
a nice pin stripe down both sides. Every piece of exterior trim is
new or restored like new. Up front the bumper, headlight bezels and
around the grills are nice. It has its original rear power antenna.
The rear bumper and tail panel are in great shape. The door jambs
are nice and glossy. All the weather stripping is good. It has
original door edge guards. It sits on an original set of Rally I
wheels with nice trim rings,center caps all on a set of BFG radial
redline tires. The interior looks very good. The seat upholstery
looks excellent. The door panels, carpet and headliner look new.
The rear package tray looks to be original. The dash pad is nice
with no cracks. The rear seat is nice. Between the bucket seats, it
has its factory console with a factory Hurst 4-speed shifter
sticking out of it. It has a set of factory deluxe seat belts. It
also has a factory AM/FM Radio with reverb that works and the
heater controls slide with ease. The engine compartment is nicely
detailed with its number matching 389 cu in, 360 hp WS tri-power,
correct casting and date coded. It has been completely rebuilt! The
carbs have been completely restored and dialed in. The master
cylinder has been upgraded to a dual master cylinder. It also
features power steering, correct spring type battery cables, GM
hoses and clamps, 4-core radiator with correct fan shroud and
clutch fan. The engine bay and firewall is painted in a black satin
finish. The undercarriage, the front end looks like it has been
gone through. The floors are all clean metal, no signs of any
patches. It has its original 3:90 saf-t-track rear end. It also has
factory splitter exhaust tips. The E-brake system is all complete.
The trunk is solid and nicely detailed with splatter paint. It has
a spare tire, jack assembly, trunk mat, factory trunk light,
jacking instruction and posi decals. This is a really clean and
straight GTO in a very desirable color with many desirable options:
power steering, power brakes, tri-power, power windows-remote
mirror, AM/FM Stereo w/reverb, trunk release, power rear antenna
and trunk light.
