Vehicle Description
The square-jawed late 1960s Ford trucks are true icons that are
becoming harder to find. So we're quite happy to have a 1969 F-100
that backs up its stout lines with fuel-injected V8 power. But more
than just powerful, this has been upgraded with the best premium
features, like a loaded interior, four-wheel disc brakes, and
ultra-slick paint everywhere - right down to the truck bed.
This pickup has upgraded power, but it has way too much flair to
call it a sleeper. After all, this one was given a frame-off
restoration, and the first place you really notice the thousands
$$$$$$ invested is in the radiant look of the paint. It's the kind
of modern dark gray metallic that you almost expect to have on an
Eleanor Mustang. It has been wet sanded so it feels as slick as it
looks. That's why they also deleted much of the body trim, so
nothing gets in the way of seeing and feeling that ultra-sleek
shine. Amazing body lines, beautiful chrome bumpers, and big
18-inch polished wheels give this a terrific quality. There are
thoughtful details everywhere you look, right down to the crystal
clear headlights and gas fill that was relocated from the outside
to its own box in the bed.
The interior is the right mix of vintage and upgraded. It starts
with the classic bench seat that now has comfy velour inserts for
where you sit. The door panels, carpeting, dash pad, and headliner
all coordinate in black and have a fresh feeling. The dash is
color-matched to the exterior gray, and it has the right upgrades,
like an AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB. There are even provisions for air
conditioning, although it seems to need a recharge since it is
blowing warm. And if the sports steering wheel on the tilt column
didn't signal to you that this is a driver's truck, then the Holley
EFI touchscreen controller certainly will.
Under the hood is one of the cleanest and meanest presentations
around with all that black within the tidy engine bay. The 351
cubic-inch Cleveland gave these F-100s very respectable power, and
this one gets the job done even better. You're looking at a tidy
motor build topped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection.
It has been upgraded further with an MSD distributor, an aluminum
radiator w/electric fans, and ceramic-coated headers. And the sound
from the dual exhaust has the unmistakable rumble of an upgraded
cam. As you pour over the pictures you can see plenty of proof that
this is an exceptionally clean pickup. It has nice driving features
like a three-speed automatic, power steering, and Ford's famous
twin I-beam front suspension. And there's terrific stopping power
with modern sport tires and four-wheel power disc brakes.
Sleek, vintage, custom, and absolutely powerful - this is the
awesome F-100 you know you can't let slip away. Call today!!!
