For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

Looking for a cool piece of Americana that'll turn heads anywhere it goes? Looking for a powerful classic that mixes the best virtues of modern hot rodding with the timeless style of Motor City muscle? Just pick up the phone, call your friends at RK Motors Charlotte and we'll hook you up with a great car like this sweet Camaro resto-mod! Combining proven LS power with a smooth 4-speed and suave silver and black aesthetics, this gruff ground-pounder draws big crowds and big compliments. And if you're one of the many enthusiasts looking for a fun classic that's unrelentingly cool, it's your ticket to good times and great memories!

SILVER STREAK

Thanks to a detailed, ground-up restoration that involved big money and a lot of skill, this fantastic F1 wraps perennial Chevrolet style around retro comfort and precise performance! The foundation for that varied appeal is a clean body that's been massaged strikingly straight. Those lines are coated in glossy two-stage that decks Metallic Silver base in familiar black Hockey Stripes. And today, this cool Camaro makes an easy habit of both stealing the show and owning the street!

The show starts with a stainless-trimmed grille that hangs familiar Rally Sport headlights between a polished bumper and a bright Camaro header emblem. A requisite Cowl Induction Hood fronts stainless-trimmed glass that's shaded by tight black vinyl. A crisp profile hangs hooped door handles between bright drip rails, bright wheel liners, ornate quarter louvers and a factory mirror. Those louvers shade simple rocker guards, which look great pointing at factory marker lamps, tasteful "Camaro SS" badging and bold "350" scripts. And at the back of the car, a short D80 spoiler joins a guarded bumper to frame a black Super Sport valance behind a clean "SS" emblem and retro Rally Sport taillights.

SMALL BLOCK GLORY

Take a peek under this classic's glossy hood and you'll find 5.7 liters of stout LS1 that twists solid power into effortless torque. Straight from GM, this fully-sorted package combines a sturdy aluminum block with lightweight aluminum heads, coil-near-plug ignition and aluminum flat top pistons to create razor sharp throttle response and lightning quick acceleration. At the front of the engine, a color-keyed Cold Air Intake funnels breeze through polished tubes, which feed a factory throttle body that's cinched to a factory intake. Stock internals spin a factory cam behind a polished serpentine drive, which hangs a polished alternator opposite a polished AC compressor. High octane fossils are juiced by GM electronic fuel injection and sparked by predictable MSD Super Conductor plug wires. Spent gases traverse a slick pair of ceramic-coated Doug's tubes. Cooling comes courtesy of a big aluminum radiator that's complete with spry puller fans and a polished cap. And not a detail has been missed in this Chevy's Satin Black engine bay, with items like a polished breather and trick dipsticks complementing niceties like polished coil covers and The Right Stuff brake components.

GOOD AS EVER

The proven LS1 sends power to a smooth 4L60E 4-speed, which spins torque to a trusty 12-bolt axle. That exceptionally fun drivetrain pushes a tough factory suspension. When the road starts to twist, factory-style power steering maximizes driver input. Power-assisted stops are greatly improved by a second set of calipers and two more discs. Spent gases race from the aforementioned headers into aluminized pipes and rowdy turbo mufflers. And rubber scars the pavement thanks to dramatic Billet Specialties Speedways, which turn 245/40ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force Sports in front of 245/45ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force Sports.

TIMELESS AND TASTEFUL

The Deluxe Houndstooth Interior hiding behind this Camaro's short doors is a mostly factory affair that's been tastefully updated where it counts. Tall bucket seats wrap a tight combination of cloth and vinyl around big bolsters that were sourced directly from TMI. A wood-trimmed dash weaves clean Dakota Digital VHX telemetry through Custom Autosound audio and controls for Vintage Air conditioning. Crisp kick speakers lead Deluxe side panels, which frame clean carpet and a factory console that's anchored to a traditional Horseshoe Shifter. The driver spins a polished steering wheel around a tilting column. And a carpeted trunk hides the car's relocated battery.

With its awesome small block, cool aesthetics and road-ready chassis, this Camaro is the very definition of American muscle. In the market for a top-notch classic that can steal the show and own the road? This Chevy is your kind of car!
