The Excalibur marque is truly a great American affair as celebrated
stylist Brooks Stevens brought together components to make a
neo-classic Mercedes SSK. He didn't cut corners, and that's why you

genuine wire wheels. There were only a few thousand Excaliburs
built over the twenty-year initial run, and less than 300 were
reportedly made in 1979, so you know they took the time to craft
each one individually. There's a true sense of style on this one
that comes from all the details like the dual fender-mounted spare
wheels, proper exterior trunk, and the additional horns up front.
The black and silver is a timelessly sophisticated two-tone,
especially because this has it intertwined in the details like

They were able to fit Chevrolet's 454 cubic-inch V8 inside this
classic body. The consigner believes this is the original motor for
the car. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and the
full package runs like a well-respected upper-class classic. The
big block V8 was borrowed from the Corvette, and they also fitted
its rear end to make this a fully independent suspension sports
car. This also has power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes.
And the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is ideal for
handling the big torque motor while also offering easy automatic
shifting.
