Vehicle Description
You already know you're looking at a fully custom-built 1965 Ford
Mustang convertible... but to really understand how superior this
one is, start with the details. It has a GT350 tribute style with
an amazing custom paint theme, custom body panels, a full custom
A/C interior, a performance-built 302 V8, and only about 2,500
miles on the build... yes, this is everything you want in the
coolest convertible around.
Just like Eleanor from the movie car from Gone in 60 Seconds
(2000), this takes the classic Shelby GT style and gives it a
sleeker style. This was built to be a show car, and so the panels
are excellent. And speaking of the body, you can see there's a ton
of custom work. This has the dual billet grilles, Shelby-style
racing lights, custom fog & driving light kit integrated into the
custom front end, a big power dome hood, integrated rear spoiler,
almost seamless rear bumper, Shelby-style taillights, and the
well-integrated side exhaust. And we absolutely love the widebody
part of this build that adds custom side scoops and uses the fender
flares to integrate the large Budnik polished alloys. The fully
upgraded car has an almost seamless style thanks to the paint. The
beautiful Tangerine Kandy paint is a showstopper all on its own,
and the full custom racing stripes and callouts are painted on to
keep the full package looking and feeling butter smooth.
The cream-colored roof looks excellent, especially because it
contaminates so well with the exterior stripe. And wheelie this one
is attractive with the top up, with the flip of a switch, it gets
even better. The roof powers down to reveal more cream as well as
metallic tangerine. So This has a uniform style inside and out that
will likely get added attention at the car shows. More than just an
award-worthy style, this one impresses with its level of features.
The seats are supple leather that offer terrific bolstering, even
in the rear. You have all the best modern conveniences, like an
upgraded stereo, a cup holder center console, 12-volt outlets, and
we all love a convertible with cold-blowing air conditioning. And
you know this was built to be a driver with the Billet Specialties
sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and beyond that is a full
AutoMeter Carbon Fiber gauge package.
The engine bay is part of the show car style, too. That's why you
have impressive details, like the ultra-tidy setup, custom inner
panel, polished hood hinges, and the full striping package is even
carried under the hood. More than just style, you have some serious
substance. This is a 302 cubic-inch V8 built by Dan Cansler. It has
been enhanced with a bored .40 over kit, A Holley four-barrel
carburetor, Weiand, Stealth intake, and long tube headers feeding
the side exhaust. You even have the right supporting components,
like an MSD billet distributor, a Monte Carlo bar, and a Champion
aluminum radiator w/electric fans. The three-speed automatic
transmission is an upgraded setup built to handle 500 hp and has a
2300 stall. This feeds a limited-slip Ford 9-inch rear end. While
the undercarriage photos show you a car that is almost too pretty
to drive. Features like power steering, modern sport tires, and
Wilwood drilled & slotted four-wheel power disc brakes mean you
won't be able to resist adding miles to the low odometer.
