Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning Factory 1981 Camaro Z28 which is in fantastic restored condition with sought after factory fisher t tops.  This Z28 was treated to a nice restoration featuring a professional paint job, a fully rebuilt engine which is original to the car, restored factory wheels, rebuilt transmission, and a restored suspension and underside.  This Z28 is very solid with excellent body lines and gaps with no rust or bubbling paint.  This Z was sold new in California and remained with its original owner in California till approximately 2010 when it went to Texas with its second owner.  It then came to Ohio in approximately 2012 with its third owner then to me.  Frame and under carriage is also very solid with several upgrades and is nicely detailed.  This Z28 comes with factory Air Conditioning and the AC was serviced in the past and has a new compressor but needs a charge to blow cold.  It does cycle on and off but needs more freon apparently.  This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of black exterior over Silver interior which is a stunning color combination.  Its a beautiful color scheme which I have never seen in person.  Several original dealer books and brochures come with the car including original owner information which that same info. can be found on numerous receipts dating into 2005 and beyond.  A partial build sheet was found and some of it still remains under the passenger front seat.

Exterior

The Black exterior is in really nice restored condition.  This Z28 was treated to a professional repaint around the year 2011 and still has a nice look.  The paint quality is very good with a nice gloss and is smooth to the touch.  The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are excellent.  Both bumpers are in good shape with no flaking or faded paint.  The decals are in good shape and really accent the car and Z28 package.  There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos.  The tires have full tread left and are correctly sized 225/70/15 and the Z28  wheels are OEM originals which have been nicely restored.  Trunk is very solid and clean with the original trunk mat.  The t tops fit nicely on the car and really look great either on or off.

Interior

The Silver cloth interior of this Z28 is in terrific condition.  The seat covers appear to be original and are in great shape with no major wear.  The carpet was replaced and in like new condition with no major stains, rips, or holes.  The dash is in good overall condition and the dash bezel is in great condition as well.  The stereo was upgraded to a cd player but is currently not working, due to its age I did not trouble shoot the stereo.
The door panels appear to be originals and are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact.  The headliner is in great shape and not sagging at all.  The package tray is in great condition and newer 6x9 speakers were added.  Currently the tach is not working properly as is the horn.  This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Z28 is in great mechanical condition and still retains its original 350 engine which has been rebuilt and runs and drives well and strong.  Much attention was spent to keeping the car stock under the hood and a new air pump was added and all emissions and smog items appear to be operations and in tact.  The rebuild was done to stock specs and the engine area was nicely detailed while the engine was removed.  The carb. was sent off to a professional to get fully rebuilt and to work as new.  A new alternator was added as was a new fuel pump with all new hoses and clamps and spark plug wires were added.  The factory computer system seems to all be in place still and working properly.  The function hood scoop does work but the hinges need lubricated so they open more feely.  We have driven this Z28 numerous times on the streets and highways and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive.  In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This Z28 is an great driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great.  The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were serviced and upgraded with new calipers and pads and new brake hoses.  The factory radiator was re-cored and rebuilt to remain stock. Flowmaster exhaust was added which gives this Z28 a nice rumble at idle and cruising speeds.  Several suspension items have been upgraded including new rear leaf springs, shocks, end links, ball joints, body bushings, body mounts, etc. Also, the engine is very clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.  This is a factory AC car and all factory parts are present and currently the system is close to working as it does cycle but appears to need a charge to blow cold.  This Z28 has been loved and meticulously cared for by its past three owners and is so much fun to drive with the tops removed.  The great way this Z28 looks and drives is a true testament to prior owners care and love for this special car. The underside is very solid and nicely detailed and much time was spent cleaning and coating the underside along with upgrading the suspension parts.
