Vehicle Description
This 1953 Ford F-100 has the matte black look of a mean machine.
And there's even a fuel-injected V8 and Flowmaster rumble to back
it up, too. But there's so much more going on here. It's a full
restomod with an upgraded interior, overdrive transmission, and a
terrific Crown Vic chassis to make this a better all-around
cruiser.
If you enjoy the intimidating attitude that matte black can bring,
then you'll really love this full presentation. Because with the
body, grille, running boards, bumpers, and even the bed done in
this color, the result is pure street machine flair. In fact, the
full first impression is a truck that has ended some serious
blacktop battles, and that's its own kind of cool. It's such a dark
total package that the upgraded Ridler polished wheels stand out as
the largest pieces of brightwork while also showing off a sporty
stance. And if you want real brightness, there are also the handy
upgrades of halogen headlights, LED turn signals, and a custom LED
tail light set up.
The interior has a nice and basic style that also has the right
upgrades for enjoying the drive. This includes a comfy bench seat
with lap belts and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth. It
has the classic sliding rear window for the right classic pickup
breezes through the cab, and whenever that's not enough, this also
has provisions for R134a air conditioning (it just likely needs a
recharge to blow cold again.) The Mercury steering wheel and tilt
column hint at where some of the other components were borrowed,
and you also have a fully upgraded gauge package in the
factory-style housing that now includes a large speedo and
tach.
The engine bay has the unmistakable look of a very cool upgrade.
After all, we all know that's not a flathead V8. The callout on the
engine cover reveals you're looking at a fuel-injected 4.6-liter V8
taken from a Grand Marquis. But Ford people also instantly realize
that this modular V8 was built to be easily upgradeable. So while
you already have some serious power and a great rumble out of the
dual exhaust, the potential is nearly unlimited - even when you're
on a budget. Also, as you look at the undercarriage photos, you're
going to spot a far more modern suspension than any 1950s truck.
That's because the Grand Marquis/Crown Vic suspension was adapted
for this to be a true restomod. It includes a well-done independent
front end, four-link rear, and sway bars front & rear. This custom
build also features power steering, power brakes, front discs, and
modern performance tires. There's even a four-speed automatic
transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. So this classic is
really made to enjoy near or far.
This is a cool custom pickup that has a mean matte black look as
well as all the best comfy upgrades. A total package like this
never stays around long, and that's why you know you need to hurry
to grab this deal. Call today!!!
