Vehicle Description
This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is a stunning, loaded, and
low-mileage example from one of the car's most pivotal years. So
you're going to love this one for everything from its one-owner
history to the fun that comes from a powerful fuel-injected V8.
This year was both the 35th anniversary of the Camaro and the final
year for the 4th generation. So yes, this is quite an important
car. That's why this example has been so well preserved. It is a
one-owner example that has averaged less than 90 miles a year. So
this was more about being a garage museum piece than ever coming
out in public. That's why it looks factory-fresh on everything -
from the excellent body panels to details like the clean glass. The
Arctic White paint has a radiant glow, and it makes for a nice
contrast to the Super Sport specific elements. As a true SS, it was
born a powerful Z/28, and then it received individual attention
from the master at SLP before making it to the Chevy showroom. So
you really see the dark and unique elements that add distinction,
like the big hood scoop and unique SS grille. And that bigger rear
spoiler is a special piece that intergrades quite nicely.
When you have so few miles on a car, it also means it has received
very little seat time. So this interior not only looks brand new,
but it even smells brand new, too! And did you notice the details,
like the air warning tag? It really feels like a time capsule. And
as much as you want to preserve this one, we also know you're going
to want to occasionally open up the T-tops to share it with the
world. After all, the full dark interior goes with the exterior
black accents, and the full black and white package makes this
Camaro look like it's wearing formalwear for its anniversary year.
More than just look terrific, you'll also love this one because
it's loaded with the best features. The high-back bucket seats are
done in supple leather, and yours power adjusts to the ideal
position. There are also power windows, power locks, keyless
entry/alarm, dual airbags, cruise control, a tilt wheel, and the
premium Monsoon AM/FM/CD stereo. And if you do go for a drive with
the T-tops out, the factory air conditioning will make sure you
feel as cool as you look.
The engine bay is just as immaculately preserved as the rest of the
car, and at the center is the special LS1 fuel-injected V8. This
5.7-liter was shared with the Corvette. Chevy said that they
de-tuned this version to keep the Vette on top, but these SLP cars
with the fresh air hood scoop and upgraded exhaust always seemed to
have missed that memo from corporate. The undercarriage photos show
more of the uniqueness that comes from such a low mileage machine
with such clean components and even factory markings. But when you
do take it out for a drive, you'll be rewarded. The four-speed
automatic transmission w/overdrive is great for both easy shifting
and quick kick-downs for performance. Plus, there's plenty of
control with four-wheel disc brakes, ABS, power steering, and a
sports suspension with sway bars front & rear.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual. Significant,
powerful, preserved, and overall stunning - this is the Camaro you
need, so don't let it slip away. Call now!
