Vehicle Description
This 1972 El Camino is the muscle car you have been looking for!
This big-block powered beast has been owned by the same individual
for the last ~20 years. Lucky for us, he took fantastic care of it
and made a number of desirable alterations. This El Camino started
life in 1972 with a 350 under the hood, but has since had a
period-correct 454 big block V8 installed. Mated to a 4 speed 700R4
automatic transmission, the V8 produces plenty of power and makes
the El Camino a blast to drive. The engine is in great mechanical
condition and runs very strong without issue. In the rear is the
desirable 3.75 positrac. Rally wheels and American GT tires on all
four corners make sure this car gets its power to the pavement and
looks good while doing it! This El Camino is all set up to tear up
your local cruise, as it even has AC. The black paint is in good
condition, as is the body overall. The finish is not quite show
quality, but looks great and is worry free. One unique touch added
by the previous owner is etching on the rear and side glass. The
interior of the car is in very good condition overall. The black
cloth seats are comfortable and in good shape without holes or
tears. A new radio has replaced the factory unit and functions
without issue. This El Camino needs nothing and is ready for some
fun!
