Vehicle Description
This 1997 Porsche 986 Boxster was originally produced for the North
American Boxster introduction in Scottsdale, AZ. Later it received
a factory conversion to a pre-production 2.7-liter flat-6 E-Gas
engine with 217hp mated to an automatic transmission, which was the
same engine that became standard on the 2000 Boxster. It was then
used by the Porsche R&D Department in Weissach, Germany, for a
year before making its way back to the United States. It still
features its pre-production engine and many other Weissach made
modifications, including a custom lowered suspension. CARFAX shows
damage report on 10/28/2015: Damage reported: minor damage.
