The 1960 model year saw the emergence of the Porsche 356B. The successor to the 356A sported major styling revisions with its T5 body designation that included raised headlights, front-fender outline change, raised bumpers in the rear by 4.13 inches, raised bumpers in the front by 3.74 inches, a reshaped front nose with provisions for fog lights, wind wings added to the front side windows, and a reverse back-up light mounted below the rear bumper. It proved to be a harmonious design evolution that continues to be admired to this day. The 356B offered three engine choices, named Normal, Super and Super 90. This elegant coupe is finished in black, contrasted by a set of chrome wheels with a factory-correct interior appointed in red leatherette with VDO instrumentation, Blaupunkt radio and matching German square-weave carpet.
